GCG has well-respected businesses including ElectroWire, Empire, Connect-Air and Seacoast. The company serves telephone, wireless and DAS customers as well as customers in rail and transit, factory automation and building automation. GCG also has cable assembly operations and is proud to be a leading wire and cable provider to the U.S. Navy.
Factory Automation
Our factory automation division is Empire, offering innovative engineering services and the latest technology or automation needs in a variety of industries. The factory automation group also offers services such as cable assembly production, custom overmolds and striping.
Telecom & Broadband
ElectroWire Telecom & Broadband, and our CPS Broadband division, supports the telecommunications industry specializing in offering value-added services. Since entering the industry in 1991, we have continually grown our product portfolio to meet the broadband and wireless markets’ growing demands. Our products and solutions support independent telephone companies, RUS plow contractors, utilities, municipalities, electrical co-ops, wireless providers & their contractors, tower owners, ILEC’s and CLEC’s.
Assembly
GCG’s assembly division offers a wide range of cable assembly, box build and complex Electro-Mechanical systems. In our 75,000 square foot facility in Leominster, MA we support customers across many industries including telecommunications, military, industrial and transit.
Rail, Transit & Industrial
ElectroWire delivers high-performance rail and transit cable to major authorities around the globe. We are the largest stocking distributor of Exane®, the transit cable of choice used in over 20,000 locomotives worldwide.
ElectroWire offers complete power solutions—including signal, communication, wayside power, rapid transit, diesel locomotive, trackside and traction—to meet your rail and transit cable needs. We also offer power solutions to major infrastructure projects and manufacturing facilities.
Building Automation
The GCG Connect-Air Building Automation division focuses on the distribution of wire and cable for HVAC, Security and Fire Alarm systems. We have become a prime resource for many OEMs and subcontractors by working closely with them to design and customize wire and cable to their specific needs. We offer specialty products such as Aiphone video verification and entry systems, Elk batteries and speakers, GRI alarm contacts and Toshiba CCTV cameras.
Naval & Shipboard
Seacoast is a specialty supplier of cable and associated electrical and electronic products for the military and shipbuilding industry, the oil and gas industry, and industrial markets. Seacoast is proud to have been servicing these industries for over 70 years.
